about

These recordings represent so many firsts for me... some of my first songs. My first attempts at home recording. My first time as the drummer. My first album. I had no idea what I was doing and it can be heard through the sounds of tape hiss, poorly tuned guitars, and the voice of an awkward teenager into Radio Shack microphones. Despite these shortcomings, documented here are my anxious first steps onto a path that I continue to follow decades later. It was truly the first time I felt like myself.

This would not have been possible without the patience of my mom, dad, and sister. I can't thank you enough for tolerating all of that noise coming from the basement.

The first 8 songs of this release are also contained on the S/T album/cassette.

Some of these songs were performed live by a band consisting of myself on vocals and guitar, Zach O'Brien on drums, Chris Utecht on bass, and Troy McCall on guitar. After the band parted ways in the summer of 1998, I soldiered on alone and turned Latest Disgrace into a solo recording project that I continue to do to this day.

about

latest disgrace Minneapolis, Minnesota

That guy (Adam Welle) from the record store's solo basement recording thing.

I've been doing this project since 1998 between time spent in the Central Division, icollide, Endahl, Bitter Canon, Horrible Lives, Officer Annie, Centinel, the Offset, etc...

No one asked for 'em but previous albums & EPs from the past 25 years are coming soon.

This stuff's been called "skate punk with feelings."
